I particularly want to encourage those who have been working in the industry for years, have produced a lot, but don’t have impressive citation metrics, to take this step bravely.

Citation metrics are most valuable for mass-producing petition letters, which is a sufficient condition for applying for EB1A, but not a necessary one.

For example, my citations are less than 50, but I still feel that my case is stronger than many new graduate with 300+ citations.

So, as long as you can be honest with yourself, adopt a mindset of confidence, and meticulously prepare your materials, I believe there is a good chance of success.
